Mobile Message Privacy Notice

This notice explains how GenAIPI handles information collected through our text messaging program. It supplements our general Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This Mobile Message Privacy Notice explains how GenAIPI handles information collected through our text messaging (SMS) program. It supplements our general Privacy Policy, which also applies.

2. Information we collect

When you opt in, we collect the mobile phone number you provide, any name you optionally provide, the exact consent language you agreed to, and the date, time, page, IP address, and device information of your opt-in. We also process the content of messages you exchange with our AI assistant to respond to you.

3. How we use it

We use this information solely to operate the messaging program: to send you the conversational messages you requested, respond to your texts, honor opt-out (STOP) requests, and maintain proof of consent as required by carriers and applicable law.

4. We do not share your mobile opt-in data

No mobile information — including your phone number and your text messaging opt-in consent — will be shared with, sold, or rented to any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This category of information is expressly excluded from any data sharing described in our general Privacy Policy.

We may share information with service providers strictly to help us deliver the messaging service (for example, our SMS carrier, Twilio), who are contractually restricted from using it for any other purpose, or when required by law.

5. Opt-out and your choices

You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP. You may also request access to or deletion of your information by emailing support@genaipi.org.

6. Retention

We retain proof-of-consent records for as long as needed to comply with carrier requirements and applicable law, and delete or anonymize them when no longer required.
